The ChinaCan 2008 Conference is structured as a concurrent exhibition and seminar. The seminar offers presentations in 3 programs: Beer and Beverage Can Technology; Food and Specialty Can Technology; and Endmaking. The Exhibition will feature tabletops where suppliers offer technical materials, brochures, and samples to can makers. The exhibition will also feature complimentary cocktails and refreshments. The ChinaCan 2008 Conference attendance fee covers two nights at the Ocean Spring Hotel and Resort, access to all presentations, events, and exhibition hall, all meals, and complimentary cocktail hours. The cost of the conference is $1500 per person. This fee is all-inclusive; ChinaCan will make the hotel reservations. Attendees are welcome to bring spouses at an additional fee of $350.

Suppliers can maximize impact by becoming presenters and/or exhibitors.

Presentations will be 30 minutes, and presenters will have a range of AV options to support them. We will also provide simultaneous translation English-Chinese. The fee for presentations is $1000. Presentation space is limited and cannot be reserved unless your company is registered to attend the show. Presentation materials must be provided to WCC by August 22 so that we may include them in a CD available to all attendees.

The Exhibition Hall will be open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday afternoons. The cost of a table-top exhibit is $1200—WCC hopes to provide student translators for each company with a tabletop. This will be a separate fee to be paid by the exhibitor directly to the translators, and will not exceed $50/day. It is also highly recommended that exhibitors provide written materials in Chinese.

Attendees who sign up for both a table-top and a presentation will receive a discounted package price of $3500 for conference, exhibit, and presentation, representing a savings of $200. Because exhibition space and presentation time is limited, this discount is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

ChinaCan will provide all meals from lunch on Thursday September 18 through lunch Saturday September 20. A Gala dinner will take place on Friday evening with speeches and a show.
